What we collect and why.

The short version.

440 Creates is a creative agency at 440 Davis Street, San Leandro, CA 94577. When you write to us through this site, we use what you send to reply to you. We measure how people use the site so we can make it better. We don't sell your information and we don't run ads on this site.

When you contact us.

The contact form asks for your name, email, phone number (optional), what you're interested in, and your message. When you send it, the site emails it to our team, along with the page you sent it from and the time. The email is delivered by Resend, an email service, and arrives in our inbox, where we keep it like any other email from a client or prospect. Our web host, Cloudflare, also keeps a copy in its logs for a few days so nothing gets lost if an email fails.

We use these details to answer you and, if we end up working together, to run the project. We don't add you to a mailing list.

Analytics.

We use two tools to understand how the site is used. Both set cookies in your browser.

• Google Analytics counts visits: which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are (city level), what device and browser they use, and how they found us. We also count when the contact form is sent, but not what's in it.
• Microsoft Clarity shows us how people move through a page, such as where they click and how far they scroll, as heatmaps and recordings of visits. Clarity hides what you type into form fields.

These tools give us totals and patterns, not your name. Google and Microsoft process the data under their own policies: Google Privacy Policy and Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Other services the site uses.

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, and our videos are delivered by bunny.net, a video delivery network. Like any web server, they see your IP address and browser details when your device asks them for a page or a video. Our fonts are hosted on our own site.

Your choices.

• You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site still works.
• Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics.
• You can ask us what we have from you, or ask us to delete it. Call us at 510.257.4400 or send a note through the contact form.

Children.

This site is meant for businesses and organizations. It isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes.

If we change how the site handles information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
